The Day of Logistics Support Specialists of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is observed in Ukraine every October 11. This official professional observance, established by the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, was first celebrated in 2023. It recognizes the vital role of logistics support specialists within the Logistics Forces Command, which was formally created in 2018 following a decree by President Petro Poroshenko. The Logistics Forces Command is responsible for ensuring that the Armed Forces are supplied with weapons, ammunition, fuel, food, and medical supplies. The emblem of the Logistics Forces Command features a dark blue triangular shield with a stylized knight’s armor and crossed golden pernachs, symbolizing the essential services provided to the military.
