Common activities include writing down regrets and symbolically releasing them, such as by burning the list, as well as watching the Disney film "Frozen," which emphasizes the theme of letting go. Participants are also encouraged to create reminders of this mindset through art, inspirational decor, or playlists that reinforce the idea of moving forward. National Let It Go Day was created by Thomas and Ruth Roy of Wellcat Holidays & Herbs to help people find peace and contentment by forgiving themselves for past actions.
