Celebrations can include reading about Croatian wines, dining at restaurants that feature Croatian selections, participating in wine tastings, or sharing a bottle with friends. The day was launched in 2020 by Anna Viducic, who has a background in the wine industry and a personal connection to Croatian vineyards. Participants are encouraged to use the hashtags #NationalCroatianWineDay and #CroatianWineDay on social media to promote the holiday.
