Lawyer's Day is observed in Kyrgyzstan every last Sunday of June, celebrating the profession of law. Established by the government of the Kyrgyz Republic in 1993, this holiday recognizes the high demand and well-compensated nature of legal work in the country. The Association of Lawyers of Kyrgyzstan plays a significant role in this celebration, uniting legal experts, scientists, and activists; it comprises about 200 members, representing around 70% of the lawyers in the capital. On this day, a traditional award ceremony is held to honor the best experts in the field of law with special prizes, alongside various events that mark the professional holiday.
