The agender pride flag, designed by Salem X in 2014, consists of seven horizontal stripes symbolizing the absence of gender and non-binary identities. Notable figures contributing to agender visibility include singer-songwriter Shamir Bailey and rapper Angel Haze. Other observances related to non-binary and transgender identities include International Non-Binary People’s Day and Transgender Day of Remembrance.
