Justice Workers' Day is observed in Azerbaijan every November 22. This professional day was officially established in 2000 by President Heydar Aliev and marks the anniversary of the approval of the Regulation on the Ministry of Justice in the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1918, which is considered the official founding date of the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry is responsible for implementing state policy and managing justice, as well as overseeing various activities such as legal expertise, document preparation, and notarial management. While the day is not celebrated at the state level and participation is not obligatory, workers of the Ministry of Justice take the opportunity to congratulate one another on this occasion.
