Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity is observed annually on the third Tuesday of October, with participants remaining silent to honor the children who have lost their voices due to abortion. This day encourages individuals, particularly students, to wear red duct tape with the word “life” written on it as a symbol of their solidarity. To communicate their message without breaking silence, participants distribute flyers explaining the purpose of the event. The initiative began in 2004 by Bryan Kemper, inspired by a student's question about how to unite efforts against abortion. It is sponsored by the Stand True organization, which Kemper also founded, and is celebrated by thousands of students across the United States.
