Egyptian Engineering Day is observed in Egypt every year on September 5. This annual two-day event, organized by the IEEE Egyptian section, serves as an expo for engineering graduation projects, allowing young engineers to present their work. The event has featured over 250 projects and attracted more than 1,000 visitors in past years. Each year, volunteers select a slogan that reflects the vision for the event, and projects must align with this theme. Despite being one of the largest professional summits in Egypt, there are concerns about the extensive preparation required for the expo and the lack of real-life implementation of the projects.
