Transneutral people are neutrally oriented non-binary individuals. They may be assigned female at birth or assigned male at birth. Transneutral people may also be referred to as MtN/M2N (male to neutral) or FtN/F2N (female to neutral), depending on their assigned gender at birth. Some transneutral identities include:

  • Neutrois people.
  • Agender individuals.
  • Demigender or Deminonbinary people.
  • Genderfluid people who are often neutral.
  • Stellarians
  • Maverique individuals
  • Other non-binary individuals who identify as neither female nor male.

Transition of transneutral people

Many transneutral people change to present themselves in a way that is either a combination of both male and female, or in a way that is gender-neutral. How this looks often depends on one’s assigned gender at birth. This may include:

  • wearing padding or binding to create breasts or hips or to give a flat chest;
  • tucking
  • simulating the bulge created by the penis through packing

Many transneutral people choose not to undergo medical procedures, or only a few of them. Others may not undergo procedures for other medical reasons, due to their location, or because of their financial situation.

Possible transneutral medical transition:

  • orchiectomy/penectomy/vaginoplasty,
  • phalloplasty,
  • breast implants,
  • breast removals,
  • hormone replacement therapy, depending on one’s assigned gender at birth.
