Unlike its American counterpart, which is tied to Thanksgiving, Russian Cyber Monday aims to boost sales after the holiday season when consumer spending typically declines. The event lasts for three days, starting at midnight, and features participation from both large e-commerce retailers and smaller brick-and-mortar businesses. The current organizers include OOO Black Friday and the National Distant Sales Association (E-commerce Russia Association).
