Recurrence pattern: Every year on the last Wednesday of November.
Thanksgiving Day is celebrated in Norfolk Island, an Australian external territory, on every last Wednesday of November. This holiday is linked to the English Harvest Home festival, which historically occurred around the same time. The tradition began in the 1890s when American trader Isaac Robinson suggested decorating All Saints Church in an American style for Thanksgiving. Following his death, the community continued this practice, adorning the church with fruits and later auctioning them off to support the church's upkeep. Celebrations include singing American hymns and sharing a potluck meal featuring cold pork, chicken, bananas, and traditional American pumpkin pie.
