Entrepreneur's Day is observed in Kyrgyzstan every September 20, celebrating the contributions of entrepreneurs to the country's economy. Established in 2000 following the First Congress of Kyrgyz Entrepreneurs, this professional day was formalized by a presidential decree on October 20, 2000, with the first observance occurring in 2001. The day highlights the importance of entrepreneurship in creating new jobs and increasing revenue. Activities and events are organized across various cities, where entrepreneurs engage in discussions and events focused on business-related issues. In 2002, the President of Kyrgyzstan established the Council on Development of Entrepreneurship to promote favorable policies and protect the rights of entrepreneurs.
