Juice Day is an unofficial holiday celebrated in Russia on the third Saturday of September. The holiday aims to promote fruit and vegetable juices as a healthy beverage and an important source of nutrients in the human diet. It was first initiated by the International Federation of Fruit Juice Producers in 2010, with support from Spain, Poland, and Turkey, allowing each country to choose its own date for celebration. In Russia, the Russian Association of Fruit Juice Producers organized the observance, with the date selected through an online vote, coinciding with the fall harvest season and typically warm September weather. The inaugural Juice Day celebration took place on September 21, 2013, in Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure in Moscow, featuring juice tastings, lectures, and various entertainment activities. The holiday has been celebrated annually since its inception.
