Agricultural Workers' Day is observed in Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan every third Sunday of November. This professional day, which celebrates the contributions of workers in the agricultural industry, was established during the Soviet era and has been recognized since the early 1990s in these countries, with Ukraine adopting it in 1993, Belarus in 1995, and Kazakhstan in 1998. Although the day is marked with congratulations to agricultural workers, the government does not organize any special events, and it coincides with a non-working holiday since it falls on a Sunday. While some post-Soviet states have discontinued or altered the observance, Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan have maintained the original date as a tribute to the importance of agriculture in their economies.
